- Eric Machiels Acting Chairman/Chief Executive
|
Eric obtained his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1996. He previously graduated from the University of Leuven Law Faculty (Belgium) in 1996. Eric became Acting Chief Executive of Novera Energy Limited in February 2010. He is Acting Chief Executive of Infinis plc, which is also owned by Terra Firma. In June 2010 Eric was also appointed as Acting Chairman of Novera Energy Limited and of Infinis plc.
Eric has been a Business Director at Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd since September 2007 and was seconded into Infinis in January 2008.
He worked as an Investment Director at UBS Capital from 1999 to 2002. Prior to joining Terra Firma, Eric held executive positions within two portfolio companies of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a US private equity firm and most recently as MD of Sirva Inc.'s Continental European activities from 2004-2007.

- Jane Aikman Finance Director
|
After graduating with a BEng in Civil Engineering, Jane qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young. She went on to hold finance positions with both GEC Alsthom Limited and Fujitsu ICL plc. In 1996, Jane moved to South East Asia to pursue her career with Asia Pulp and Paper Co Ltd, one of the largest pulp and paper manufacturers in the world, in various finance roles, ultimately as Director of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations. In 2001, she returned to the UK and occupied Finance Director positions in Amey plc and then Pressac plc.
In 2006, Jane joined Wilson Bowden plc, the major house building and property development group, as Group Finance Director, where she was part of the team who were instrumental in the sale of that group to Barratt Developments plc. Jane was appointed to the Novera Energy Limited board in February 2010. She is the Finance Director of Infinis plc, which is also owned by Terra Firma. Jane is also a non-executive director of Halma plc.

- Stewart Gibbins Operations Director
|
Stewart was appointed to the Novera Energy Limited board in February 2010. Stewart joined Waste Recycling Group in May 2005 as Operations Director of the Waste to Energy division. He has been Operations Director of Infinis plc, also owned by Terra Firma, since May 2006 and joined Infinis plc's board of directors in April 2009.
Stewart has extensive senior management experience in engineering, project management and operations with Marconi, British Coal, Babcock Group and Rolls-Royce. During his time with Rolls-Royce Stewart managed a fleet of 50MW gas fired power stations within the UK, Europe and North America and has over 12 years experience in the power generation sector.

- Steven Hardman Commercial Director/Director of Wind & Major Projects
|
Steven was appointed to the Novera Energy Limited board in February 2010. He joined Infinis plc in May 2008 as Commercial Director, leading its commercial and legal activities. He expanded his role in April 2009 when he assumed responsibility for Infinis' wind and major projects function.
Steven was previously Group Legal Director for Waste Recycling Group where he was responsible for the entirety of the group’s legal affairs. A qualified solicitor, Steven’s early career was as a corporate lawyer in the City of London prior to a period with Hanson plc.
